KENOSHA, WI -January 13, 2018 – Employees from My Foster Kids Foundation, Inc. (MFKFI), the Kenosha Chamber of Commerce, and members of the Kenosha community joined together on February 13, 2018 to celebrate the ribbon cutting for Fosters reStore.
Fosters reStore is a gently-used clothing store open to the public where foster children shop for free. Community members donate clothing and other items to the store. The items are then sold, and the profits fund scholarships and other financial programs for foster children.
In addition to scholarships, MFKFI provides physical items to foster families. Car seats, formula, toiletries and other items are given free of charge when a family receives an emergency placement.
Donations to Fosters can be dropped off at the retail store location at 7865 Green Bay Road, Kenosha, WI 53142, from 9 am – 8 pm daily. There are a variety of donation drop-off locations in the Kenosha area as well. Find out more at www.myfosterkids.org
